Domestic Household Warranty – 2 Years
As the original purchaser, in addition to all statutory rights which you, the consumer, have under the relevant laws in respect of this appliance your authorised SEBO Agent or SEBO will provide a guarantee that any fault caused by faulty material or workmanship becoming apparent will be rectified free of charge for parts and labour for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase, provided that all service is performed during normal work hours by a SEBO authorised technician who is a licensed Electrical Contractor. The purchaser must deliver and/or pay for the cost of transportation of the appliance to and from the SEBO Service Technician and/or pay the Technician's travelling time. SEBO or its Authorised Agent is not liable for any consequential damage incurred during transportation.
Commercial Warranty – 1 Year
As the original purchaser of the SEBO vacuum cleaner or power head, your authorised SEBO Agent or SEBO, will provide a guarantee that any fault caused by faulty material or workmanship becoming apparent will be rectified free of charge for parts and labour for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase, provided that all service is performed during normal work hours by a SEBO authorised technician who is a licensed Electrical Contractor. What’s not Included?
1. Machines which have not been assembled, used, or maintained in accordance with the operating instructions.
2. Fair wear and tear, accident, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or any machine which has had the serial number altered, defaced or removed.
3. Consumable items, including (but not limited to), bags, filters, brush rollers, cables, hoses, attachments (including turbo brushes and floor nozzles), tubes or air belts.
4. Normal maintenance servicing or the clearing of blockages.
5. Damage caused by external sources such as transit, weather, or proximity to heat, eg fires, ovens, radiators, etc.
6. Used or second hand products.
7. Damage caused by liquid, or hot material such as ash.
8. Non-authorised attachments, parts or modifications
SEBO or its Authorised SEBO Agent will not accept liability for any consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising from, or in connection with, this machine. In no case shall the liability exceed the invoice value of the goods.
Additional Information
Before service can take place you must supply the machine’s serial number and the date and place of purchase. Please keep the proof of purchase receipt and copy of the completed product registration form in a safe place to ensure guarantee cover. Without proof of purchase repairs may be chargeable.
1. All work must be authorised by SEBO or Authorised SEBO Agent. Unauthorised work, involving the removal of any screws, will invalidate the guarantee.
2. The machine must be maintained as per its operating instructions.
3. Any parts replaced will become the property of SEBO.
4. The guarantee applies to Australia only.
5. The guarantee only covers use in accordance with the operating instructions.
6. The use of non-original SEBO parts, including (but not limited to) bags, filters and spares can be harmful to the machine and will invalidate the guarantee.
7. Washing filters and re-using bags can damage the machine and will invalidate the guarantee.
8. The guarantee commences from the date of original purchase.
Extended Warranty
From time to time an Authorised SEBO Agent may offer extended warranty and this extended warranty is the sole responsibility of the Authorised SEBO Agent.
Jurisdiction
This Agreement is subject to the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of that State.
Avoiding Internet Scams
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU VERIFY THE AGENT YOU CHOOSE IS AN AUTHORISED SEBO AGENT, BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A VACUUM, ESPECIALLY OVER THE INTERNET. Only in this way can you be certain that your product is genuine and is covered by a warranty.
SEBO Australia scours the internet to see that only Authorised SEBO Agents are offering our products. However, unauthorised internet "dealers" arise from time-to-time, and they may attempt to mislead prospective SEBO customers. Unauthorised dealers do not have a relationship with the manufacturer, and they have no reliable source for genuine bags, filters and replacement parts.
